[NEWS] 120726 U-KISS Japanese Concert Tour Tickets All Sold Out


U-KISS has become the new rising Hallyu figure in Japan. U-KISS started their first series of concert tour in Japan in the beginning of July. During the tour, they have visited eight cities so far and have sold out all the tickets, which adds up to approximately 80,000 tickets. Moreover, all of U-KISS’s Japanese albums are ranked highly on Oricon charts.
Through their Japanese concert tour and album promotions, U-KISS have definitely raised their profile as the next big Hallyu idols, following the footsteps of DBSK. U-KISS have performed 16 times throughout July and will be having a grand finale in Tokyo at NHK hall on July 28 and 29. They will also be releasing the third Japanese single “Dear My Friend” on July 25.
On September 5, U-KISS will be performing at the Budokan, the dream stage of Japanese artists, and officially wrap up their Japanese promotion. They will return to Korea after the Budokan concert to focus on a new album promotion in Korea in mid-September.

[NEWS] 120726 U-Kiss holds successful fan meet in Kawasaki after new single release


It was a big week for U-Kiss as they not only released their new Japanese single, "Dear My Friend," but also held a very successful fan meet with over 8,000 people.

The fan meet was held in celebration of this release. Held in Lazona in Kawasaki, the event was a huge success as the crowd of 8,000 gathered at the venue at the crack of dawn to wait for U-Kiss. For this event, U-Kiss held a special Q&A corner. After the fun times, the group took the stage and performed their song "Dear My Friend," the ending song for the anime "Arashi no yoru ni~Himitsu no tomodachi," as well as their second single, "Forbidden Love." Their performances were high energy and intense. At the end of the day, there were about 6,500 fans who attended the high touch event to create summer memories with U-Kiss.

Soohyun said, "Even though the weather was bad, seeing so many fans here for us really moved me. As a group, U-KISS hopes to always be close to our fans. Being able to partake in such an event really makes me happy. Next week, we will be continuing with our promotions in Sapporo, Niigata, and NHK Hall in Tokyo. I can't wait to see you all again. Thank you, as always!"

U-KISS's activities in Japan will not be over for quite a while, as they are slated to release their fourth Japanese single,"One of You," in September.
